Trinity Capital Advisors recently named Tyson Strutzenberg as a Managing Director of Asset Management.

Strutzenberg joined Trinity Capital Advisors in 2019 as a Director of Asset Management specifically to lead the re-development of Park Point, a 655,000 SF, 100-acre adaptive re-use campus in the Research Triangle Park submarket of Raleigh-Durham. He was responsible for project design, construction, leasing, and finance for the massive redevelopment project. Park Point was recently acquired by CBRE Investment Management and is home to GRAIL Inc, Charles River Laboratories, and Restor3d.

“Tyson was a huge part of Park Point’s success,” said Jeff Sheehan, Managing Partner, Trinity Capital. “The redevelopment serves as an exceptional example of Trinity Capital’s vision and ability to deliver innovative life science space, and we couldn’t have done it without him. It quickly became clear that he would be an integral part of our Life Science and Technology platform. “We look forward to growing our portfolio across the Triangle and beyond, benefitting from his strategic, collaborative approach and industry expertise.”

Currently, Strutzenberg oversees several major assets in the Triangle: The Roxboro and Venable Center, Southport Innovation Center, and Spark LS, the region’s largest mixed-use, life science and research development in Morrisville, NC. Phase One of Spark LS is currently under construction and set to begin delivering in 2nd quarter 2024.

Prior to joining Trinity Capital Advisors, Strutzenberg was COO and SVP of Asset Management at Rising Realty Partners, a vertically integrated developer and investor in Los Angeles. While at Rising, Strutzenberg oversaw the company’s portfolio, executing business plans for 20 properties totaling over five million square feet (over $1.3 billion in value).
