Trinity Capital Advisors Purchases 2605 Meridian Parkway in Durham, NC

Durham, NC- June 17, 2013 – Trinity Capital Advisors has added to its Triangle office portfolio with the recent purchase of 2605 Meridian Parkway in Durham, North Carolina. The 73,446 SF multi-tenant suburban office building sits on 7.4 acres in Meridian Business Campus, and is ideally situated near the intersection of I-40 and Hwy 55. Key tenants include SRA International and Lockheed Martin Corporation. Trinity Partners will continue to lease and manage the building, with Esther Austin handling leasing duties, and Eve Pilkington serving as property manager.

Trinity Capital Advisors purchased the building from Byrd Meridian, LLC. The real estate development and acquisition firm owns an additional office asset in the area; Capital Center, a five story, 157,000 SF office building in Raleigh, NC, located in the West Raleigh submarket.

“Raleigh / Durham is a very appealing market for us because of its diverse employment base and robust job growth,” said Sean McKinley, CFO. “Meridian’s location and high quality office park setting makes it well-suited for success as the market continues to grow.”

Trinity Capital Advisors focuses on workplace real estate acquisition and development, including office, industrial and mixed-use. To date, the firm has invested over $500 million throughout the Southeast, through one of the firm’s three real estate funds.
