Walker Collier is Managing Partner at Trinity Capital, a commercial real estate development and acquisition firm, and Foundation, a Trinity Capital portfolio company focused on the life science, technology, and innovation sectors. Walker leads and manages operations at Trinity Capital with his co-managing partner, Jeff Sheehan, putting his 22 years of industry experience into practice by focusing on the firm's investment strategy, fund management, and institutional equity partnerships. Walker has led the acquisition of approximately $3 billion and 21 million SF of real estate assets across life science, industrial, and office assets in competitive markets across the country, including Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Charleston, Miami, and Nashville. Significant Trinity Capital portfolio projects include Spark LS, a $1 billion, 1.5 million square foot life science and technology campus in RTP, and Eastgate 540, a 1.1 million square foot industrial development project in Raleigh. Walker’s proven experience in capitalizing on off-market investment opportunities is evidenced by one of Trinity Capital’s most notable portfolio transaction, the Duke Real Estate portfolio, a 6.9 million square foot, 63 office asset acquisition across four states. Prior to joining TCA in 2008, he worked in acquisitions for Charlesbank Capital Partners/BayNorth Capital in Boston. He earned a master’s degree in real estate development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
