In the spring of 2019, Trinity Capital and its joint venture partner, Vanderbilt, in conjunction with Starwood Capital, acquired Park Point: a vacant, formerly single-tenant facility in Research Triangle Park. Ownership immediately began working closely with the project’s architect, Gensler, on a $190 million adaptive-reuse campus redevelopment, transforming the existing building and 100-acre campus into a 650,000 SF modern workplace destination and collaborative campus. Once completed, Park Point will be one of the region’s most amenitized, accessible, and efficient workspaces for life science and creative office users. The campus will feature athletic fields, walking trails, on-site coffee and food service, state-of-the-art fitness center, conference and training center, and over 30,000-sq. ft of indoor and outdoor gathering areas.
