In December 2010, Trinity Capital Advisors acquired NASCAR Plaza, a 20-story, 390,000 SF downtown Charlotte office tower. NASCAR Plaza is a LEED certified Class A office tower, and one of the newest additions to the Charlotte CBD skyline. Trinity Capital sold the building in December 2012. At the time of sale, the building was 88% leased to NASCAR, Chiquita Brands International, and several other tenants. NASCAR Plaza was designed by world-renowned architect Pei Cobb Freed, and is considered one of downtown Charlotte’s landmark office buildings.
