About Park Point
Durham, NC
In the spring of 2019, Trinity Capital and its joint venture partner, Vanderbilt, in conjunction with Starwood Capital, acquired Park Point: a vacant, formerly single-tenant facility in Research Triangle Park. Ownership immediately began working closely with the project’s architect, Gensler, on a $190 million adaptive-reuse campus redevelopment, transforming the existing building and 100-acre campus into a 650,000 SF modern workplace destination and collaborative campus. Park Point is now a vibrant life science and creative campus featuring a progressive design that fosters inspiration and collaboration with its balance of modern lab and office buildings, unique shared spaces and exceptional amenities. Park Point consists of four buildings totaling 661,000 square feet and more than 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor gathering space. The growing community at the campus has access to the newly open BLVD RTP cafe, a state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis courts, walking and bike trails as well as rotating food trucks. Trinity Capital sold the asset to CBRE Investment Management in fall 2022.
