Trinity Capital acquired the 33-story, 584,315 SF building in 2018 with Oaktree Capital after implementing an extensive capital improvement plan including lobby and corridor renovations, chiller and cooling tower replacement, elevator renovations, parking deck improvements, and the addition of a 4,000 SF fitness center with full-service locker rooms through previous ownership. A retail renovation that attracted high-profile restaurant tenants and popular events like Yoga on the Deck and Movies on the Deck re-energized the building and downtown Charlotte’s Church Street corridor.
