About Jeff
Jeff Sheehan is Managing Partner at Trinity Capital Advisors, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, development execution, and long-term portfolio growth. He brings more than 24 years of commercial real estate experience across large-scale development, acquisitions, capital structuring, leasing, and asset management, with a track record of creating value in complex, growth-oriented markets.
Since beginning his career in 1999, Jeff has led or overseen more than $2.5 billion in new developments and acquisitions totaling approximately 15 million square feet. At Trinity Capital, he plays a central role in identifying investment opportunities, underwriting projects, structuring capital, and guiding assets from concept through stabilization. His portfolio reflects the firm’s strong performance in high-demand sectors, particularly life science, office, and industrial real estate.
Notable Trinity Capital projects include Park Point at Research Triangle Park, a $380 million, 652,000-square-foot life science and creative office redevelopment; Eastgate 540, a 1.1 million-square-foot industrial development in Raleigh; and Spark LS, a $1 billion, 1.5 million-square-foot life science and technology campus in RTP. These projects exemplify Jeff’s ability to execute large, multi-phase developments and position assets to meet evolving tenant and investor demand.
Prior to joining Trinity Capital, Jeff worked at Duke Realty in Raleigh, where he oversaw operations for a 10 million-square-foot Class-A office and warehouse distribution portfolio spanning North Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland. His experience managing institutional-quality assets informs his disciplined, performance-driven approach to development and investment.
Appointed by the Governor of North Carolina, Jeff also served on the North Carolina Department of Transportation Board, representing multiple counties in the Triangle. This experience further strengthened his understanding of infrastructure, public-private collaboration, and long-term regional growth.
