Trinity Partners announced today that it has partnered with three senior professionals from the former GVA Advantis Triangle office to create a new Trinity Partners leasing, brokerage, management and construction platform that will serve office and industrial institutional owners and corporate users in the Triangle market.
Scott Stankavage, David Adams, and David Townsend will be principals in the Trinity Partners Triangle office. Fourteen other employees involved in brokerage, property management and construction will join the three principals in establishing the office.
“We’re excited to be able to partner with Trinity and continue to serve our clients here in the Triangle area,” says Scott Stankavage, Trinity principal. “Trinity’s philosophy and focus on being a ‘Best in Class’ service provider lines up perfectly with our mindset,” says Stankavage.
Stankavage had been with GVA Advantis since 1990, and has been one of the Triangle’s top commercial real estate brokers for over two decades. He and David Adams will oversee the firm’s brokerage operations which will include landlord leasing, tenant representation, and property management.
Adams is a veteran broker that came to the Triangle in 1996 after spending nine years with Jones Lang LaSalle in Washington, DC. Adams has worked in the past with Tri Properties and Colliers in the Triangle area, focusing on landlord representation of office properties.
David Townsend will run Trinity’s construction services group, which will be based in the Triangle but will serve both metropolitan markets. Townsend was a 13-year veteran of GVA Advantis where he has always been recognized for his leadership and “client first” focus.
“We are thrilled to be able to partner with professionals of this caliber,” says Gary Chesson, Trinity principal. “The people in this Triangle office have been together for a long time and we’re fortunate to have them join the Trinity team,” says Chesson.
A location for the new Trinity office has not yet been chosen.
“In the eyes of the institutional marketplace, North Carolina has two primary markets- Charlotte and the Triangle. We’re excited to be able to establish such a strong presence quickly in the Triangle market,” says David Allen, Trinity principal.
Trinity Partners was founded in Charlotte in 1998 by David Allen, Gary Chesson and Peter Conway. With addition of the Triangle office, Trinity will lease, asset manage and property manage over 9 .0 million SF and will have 55 employees between Charlotte and the Triangle. Between these two markets, Trinity has seven operating groups – Office Project Leasing, Office Tenant Representation, Property Management, Project Management, Industrial Brokerage, Investment Sales, and Construction Services. Trinity’s clients include some of the country’s largest institutional owners and corporate users, including TA Associates, Lionstone, American Realty Advisors, Gramercy Capital, EastGroup, Brookwood, Wells Real Estate Funds, Triple Net, Belk, as well as Research Triangle Institute, Campbell Alliance, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and Principal Financial Group.
