Trinity Capital promotes Ian Shorkey to Assistant Vice President

February 3, 2020

Trinity Capital Advisors has promoted Ian Shorkey to Assistant Vice President. Shorkey joined Trinity Capital in 2015 and quickly proved himself to be an integral part of the firm, working directly with senior Trinity Capital investment team members through every aspect of the acquisition, disposition, and development process. His exceptional performance and strategic approach allowed Trinity Capital’s asset management team to maximize portfolio value, performance, and returns. In his new role, Ian will continue to work closely with the Trinity Capital team acquiring and developing office and industrial commercial real estate across the Southeastern United States.

“When Ian joined Trinity Capital in 2015, he had no direct commercial real estate experience, but that didn’t stop him from immersing himself in the business,” said Walker Collier, Partner at Trinity Capital. “He has grown tremendously in his time with us, and we look forward to continued success as a firm with Ian as a valuable member of our team.”

“I’m grateful to have the opportunity to continue contributing to Trinity Capital’s success with a truly fantastic group of professionals,” said Shorkey. “I’m very proud of the work we do, our successful track record, and unique projects and developments.”

Prior to joining Trinity Capital, Shorkey was an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. The Clemson alumnus devotes time to Heart Math Tutoring, a volunteer program with Charlotte public school elementary students in Title I schools to improve their math skills. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Camp Debbie Lou, a summer camp in Latta, South Carolina, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
