Trinity Capital announced today that it has signed a new tenant, Shapiro & Ingle, LLP, at The Linville Building.  The law firm will occupy 12,319 square feet on the 4th floor.

Perimeter Woods is a 760,000 square foot master planned mixed-use development located near the intersections of I-77, I-485, and Harris Boulevard.  The first phase of the development is The Linville Building, which is a 125,000 square foot, five-story, Class A office building.  Surrounding The Linville Building are 310,000 square feet of retail amenities within the park and an additional 1.2MM square feet of retail within walking distance at NorthLake Mall.

Shapiro & Ingle, LLP operates statewide in North Carolina providing legal assistance for mortgage lenders and servicers.  The firm, which is a member office of The LOGS Network, LLC, also provides counsel for most default-related litigation.

Grady Ingle, Managing Partner with Shapiro & Ingle, explained the firm’s attraction to Perimeter Woods by saying, “We needed a location that would provide our employees with an abundance of retail options and easy access to the major roadways of Charlotte for their daily commutes.”

Kevin McLennan, Senior Managing Director with Studley Inc. out of Chicago, Ill., represented Shapiro & Ingle, LLP in the lease transaction.  Charles Jonas, Managing Director, and John Ball of Trinity Partners represented the landlord.

Sherrie Chaffin of Trinity Partners’ Project Management Division has been contracted to oversee the design and construction of Shapiro & Ingle’s new office at The Linville Building.

The Shapiro & Ingle lease was one of three new tenant leases to be signed in the fourth quarter of 2009 at The Linville Building.  “It is very rewarding to have quality tenants attracted to the project and we are excited to continue the leasing momentum in 2010,” said Peter Conway, Managing Partner of Trinity Partners.
